THE Hunter is a lottery hot spot this week, with a Tanilba Bay resident having won $100,000.

The lucky player won the prize on Thursday in the $2 Jackpot Lottery draw 8756.

The player scored an additional $2000 for having tickets one off the winning number on either side. The lucky ticket was bought from Tanilba Bay Newsagency in Kooindah Shopping Centre.

The coup follows a $1,105,263 Hunter win in last Saturday's $21 million Lotto Superdraw.
