LUCK is definitely on side of people buying lottery tickets in East Maitland.
Hill's Newsagency, in Lawes Street, has sold two major prize-winning tickets this week. On Wednesday night, a happy-go-lucky local picked up $500,000 after scooping the entire first division prize. "On Monday, we sold the $100,000 first prize in the $2 Jackpot Lottery," newsagency owner David Sinclair said. NSW Lotteries is still searching for Monday night's winner. There were no first division winners in Lotto Strike on Wednesday night, with the jackpot now at $1.24 million.
