LUCK was definitely on the side of four Hunter and Central Coast punters yesterday, with one walking away with $10.7 million in a $2 Jackpot Lottery draw.

The Central Coast man, who wished to remain anonymous, was catapulted into an early retirement after winning the multimillion dollar prize, the third highest $2 Jackpot Lottery ever.

The man, who purchased his winning ticket from the Toukley Newsagency, said he would quit his job to spend more time with family.

He also said he would pay off his mortgage and take a well-deserved holiday.

Three other gamblers, all from Newcastle, together collected $117,000 in prizemoney.

An unknown player won a $100,000 first prize in another $2 Jackpot Lottery drawn yesterday morning, with ticket number 18974 sold in West Wallsend.
