Lottery games should be fun, first and foremost. The element of dramatic tension, the excitement of the occasional minor win, and the rare chance at unimaginably high jackpots are all what make lottery games so enjoyable. Many people find the aftermath a little depressing, though, but you just need to change how you look at the lottery to avoid this.
It doesn't hurt to dream about what you could do with all the money from winning lottery superdraws or just from regular wins in the Thursday Powerball, but don't invest yourself in those dreams. Entering the lottery is a bit of fun, not an investment strategy. If you're ever lucky enough to win, that's fantastic! Just don't get so caught up in entering the lottery that it becomes a harmful obsession.
