Where have the superdraws gone?

Monday September 29, 2008

Lottery games were offering ridiculously large prizes at the beginning of the year, so now where have the lottery superdraws gone to? Part of the fun of lottery games is that their outcomes cannot be regularly predicted, so the current absence of superdraws is just another part of the variance of lottery games.

Thursday Powerball and Tuesday Oz Lotto seemed at odds for providing the largest prize draws in Australian lottery history, but now they have dropped off to their usual jackpot levels again. The Thursday Powerball results and Tuesday Oz Lotto results were each avoiding a winner every week for an impressive run - now they are finding a winner every few draws!

While superdraws have disappeared for now, the regular lottery prizes still run at several million dollars, which is nothing to be sneezed at. Please use our online entry facilities if you would like to place an entry online for an Australian lottery.
